Job summary

Core-Mark International in Hayward, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a union-represented team. You will perform shipping/receiving duties, operate a Stand Up Reach forklift, and support timely product flow in a multi-temperature warehouse environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to work 5:00 AM–1:30 PM, overtime as needed, and you must pass drug and background checks. Pay is $20.00/hour with benefits under the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, pallet wrapping, order selection, loading, and receiving.
• Performs general housekeeping to keep warehouse, loading dock and trailers clean; report unsafe conditions.
• Performs daily safety check of assigned forklift/pallet jack.
• Performs damage control checks on items; coordinate with supervisor per policy.
• Replace batteries and maintain vehicle inspection checklist per guidelines.
• Review work schedule and daily production paperwork; prepare for operations.
• Wear all required PPE and safety gear.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Secure equipment and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
