Job summary

Hackbarth Delivery Service Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate with Class A CDL experience to join our logistics team in Pearl, MS. You will serve as a backup linehaul driver and support warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receiving, sorting, and distribution.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Class A CDL with at least two years of linehaul experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, and is comfortable using handheld devices and reading maps/logs. This is a night shift with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with at least two years of linehaul experience.
• Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and handle packages up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to pass a Background Check, MVR, and Drug Screen.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle safety, and logs.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a backup linehaul driver and cover additional routes as needed.
• Assist in warehouse operations when not driving – including receiving, sorting freight, and other tasks assigned by the Terminal Manager.

What You Need:

• Valid Class A CDL with at least two years of linehaul experience
• Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to lift and handle packages up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to pass a Background Check, MVR, and Drug & Screen
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle safety, and control systems
• Ability to read maps, road signs, and maintain logs
• Basic tech skills to operate handheld devices when required
