Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Etna, Ohio is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate. Pay is $17.00 per hour with on-the-job training and weekly pay. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks).
• Powered industrial truck certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and perform basic math in English.
• Ability to input data into the WMS system.
• Work overtime as assigned.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure accurate scanning.
• Train dock employees on new procedures.
• Ensure facility is secure at end of shift.
• Perform picking and packing duties.
• Perform material moves with transactions.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
