Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring Warehouse Associates in Lexington, KY. You’ll handle loose freight, load and unload, sort, stage, and transport products within a distribution center, while collaborating with teammates and following safety policies.

Responsibilities include order picking, loading trucks with attention to weight and product specs, and using handheld scanners to ensure WMS accuracy. Prior warehouse experience is helpful but not required, with strong safety practices

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment.
• Helpful Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Computer experience, such as order management systems including WMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks, considering weight, size, and product characteristics.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Participate in keeping the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Provide outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Adhere to company or site-specific safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions.
