Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Port Deposit, MD is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to join our supply chain team. The role supports loading, picking, packing, shipping, and forklift operations in a fast-paced environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving.
• Operate forklifts and assist with inventory control.
• Maintain accuracy in picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
