Job summary

Cadence Petroleum Group, DBA Pugh Lubricants, is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Ashland, Virginia facility. You will handle inbound/outbound loading, operate a forklift, and build orders for daily route deliveries while maintaining inventory accuracy.

You will perform order selecting, load/unload operations, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse. Excellent customer service and professional appearance are essential as you support distribution operations and company image.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience.
• Must have minimum of 2 year forklift experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.
• Operate a forklift following all safety rules and regulations.
• Build orders for daily package route deliveries.
• Order selecting/picking.
• Has the ability to safely load and unload products according to size of load and content description.
• Maintain warehouse in clean order by following cleanup responsibilities.
• Provide good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Physical Demands

This job regularly requires employees to work while using hands; gripping fingers and hands. The employee is frequently required to sit; walk or stand; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; and bend at waist. The employee is occasionally required to climb unassisted while carrying up to 50 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 65 pounds unassisted; push or pull 200+ pounds with appropriate moving and safety equipment.
