Job summary

Cadence Petroleum Group is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Ashland, VA. The role involves loading/unloading trucks, operating a forklift, and building orders for daily deliveries.

You will pick orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and keep the warehouse clean while delivering professional customer service. We value at least 1 year of warehouse experience; forklift experience (2 years preferred) is highly desired.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience.
• Must have minimum of 2 year forklift experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.
• Operate a forklift following all safety rules and regulations.
• Build orders for daily package route deliveries.
• Order selecting/picking.
• Safely load and unload products according to load size and content description.
• Maintain warehouse in clean order by following cleanup responsibilities.
• Provide good customer service and maintain a professional appearance to enhance the company's image.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

This job regularly requires employees to work while using hands; gripping fingers and hands. The employee is frequently required to sit; walk or stand; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; and bend at waist. The employee is occasionally required to climb unassisted while carrying up to 50 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 65 pounds unassisted; push or pull 200+ pounds with appropriate moving and safety equipment.
