Title: Warehouse Associate - Weekend Shift
Location: 201 West Queen Street, Southington, CT 06489 United States
Duration: 10 Months contract (Temp to Perm)
Shift timing: This is a Day/Weekend position with hours as follows:
- Saturdays and Sundays - 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Mondays and Tuesdays - 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to operate electric walker/overhead pallet truck, and mechanical stretch wrapper.
- Good written and verbal communication, reading, math and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to understand and utilize ERP software.
- Effective interpersonal skills for communication, instruction, and issue resolution.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Works in warehouse, in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned environments.
- Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, and pushing up to 150 lbs.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals or fumes; may need to move near equipment.
Responsibilities:
This is a Night/Weekend position with hours as follows:
- Thursdays and Fridays - 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Saturdays and Sundays - 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Specialist manages workflow, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures timely customer service and compliance. Responsible for daily issuance and receipt of materials and chemicals for manufacturing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records, reduce deviations, discrepancies, and material loss.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials, components, chemicals, and supplies to manufacturing.
- Perform receiving functions, inspect deliveries, and verify documentation.
- Order raw materials, manage inventory levels, and maintain MRO items.
- Conduct facility and equipment audits for compliance and safety.
- Provide training on operations, safety, and inventory systems.
- Follow cGMP, SOPs, and company policies.
- Participate in improvements, meetings, and continuous activities.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.
- Engage in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
