Description

The Bargreen Ellingson weekend crew is looking for experienced warehouse workers. Plenty of opportunities to learn and grow, including order picking, item put away, shipping, receiving, and inventory control. A positive attitude and work ethic are essential for promotion, as the company promotes from within.

The position is Friday through Sunday, 7am to 8pm, providing 4 days off per week.

The weekend team hosts potlucks; if you enjoy cooking, you're encouraged to bring a dish.

Job Description

Performs general warehouse duties and assists customers as needed, ensuring safety, timeliness, and efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct oneself professionally and ethically, treating customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect.
• Fill customer orders by retrieving materials from the warehouse.
• Check in and organize received materials, maintaining clear aisles and proper organization.
• Assist in maintaining the warehouse's appearance and cleanliness.
• Know the location of merchandise and keep it organized.
• Update product knowledge regularly and stay informed about inventory.
• Perform cycle counts and participate in scheduled inventory events.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment, maintaining their appearance and safety.
• Assist with year-end physical inventory, possibly working overtime or additional shifts.
• Follow all safety rules and report hazards.
• Maintain an insurable driving record.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule with attendance, including possible mandatory overtime.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in various formats.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach, and carry.
• Occasionally sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely.
• Work safely in varying warehouse temperatures.

Salary depends on experience, ranging from $18.50 to $20 per hour.
