Caterpillar is recruiting for Warehouse Associate positions at the Victoria, Texas facility. The role offers a starting wage of $16.45 per hour, with standard 40 hours per week and overtime as needed, plus observed holidays and a benefits plan starting day one.

Initial training on first shift (7:00am-3:30pm) lasts 30 days. The job involves receiving, counting, and locating parts, quality checks, and operation of forklifts and cranes, in a climate-controlled warehouse with uniforms and safety

• Report defects and need for repairs.
• Be willing to use pneumatic tools and/or power tools to crate products and prep them for shipment
• Build and construct wooden shipping containers
• Utilize tools for the application of paint and rust preventative

The Opportunity

Caterpillar Product Support and Logistics Division is currently recruiting for Warehouse Associate positions in their Victoria, Texas facility! This role includes $16.45 per hour, paid Caterpillar observed holidays, and Caterpillar ‘Works 4 Me’ limited medical benefit plan starting day 1! Depending on business requirements, normal working hours will be 40 hours per week with overtime as required. As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar, you will perform a variety of functions to check, receive, and verify accuracy of part locations and quantities. In addition to counting parts and filling orders, you will conduct first line, basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects. Please Note: This position will train on first shift for 30 days. Those hours are 7:00am-3:30pm. Your Safety is Our Priority! Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements

Must be able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes. Infrequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures Walk, squat, and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to be trained with pneumatic tools Willingness to potentially be trained on forklift, cherry pickers, etc.

Summary Pay Range

Pay Range: $16.45 - $21.35 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
