Job summary

Sonepar Vallen is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Mounds View, MN to execute warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods, while maintaining accurate data in the ERP system.

The role involves receiving, handling, storing, recording, and dispatching goods, with a focus on safety and efficiency. A minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred, and forklift familiarity is a plus. The position runs Mon-Fri from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, offering competitive pay and a stable work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments by processing and loading orders from production schedules and shipping orders.

• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure standards compliance.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods using pick sheets; operate pallet jack or forklift following policies.

Job Summary

Warehouse Associates are individual contributors responsible for executing warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods — receiving, handling, storing, recording, and dispatching goods while maintaining accurate data in the ERP (SX.e) system. This is a general labor role handling shipping/receiving.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Complete shipments by processing and loading orders; read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to move/gather/distribute
• Unload, receive, and put away incoming goods; unpack bales/crates/containers; check for damage and invoice discrepancies; install strapping/bracing/padding as needed
• Sort, label, move, and store goods per predetermined sequence (size, style, product codes); optimize warehouse space
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure standards compliance
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods using pick sheets (paper/electronic); use pallet jack or forklift following stacking policies; verify product/quantity accuracy
