Job summary

Sonepar Vallen is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Mounds View, MN. You will perform receiving, storage, and shipping duties, maintaining accurate ERP data and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments, labeling and organizing inventory, and ensuring accurate counts for order fulfillment. The position runs Mon-Fri with a consistent daytime shift and hands-on warehouse tasks.

Job Summary

Warehouse Associates are individual contributors responsible for executing warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods — receiving, handling, storing, recording, and dispatching goods while maintaining accurate data in the ERP (SX.e) system. This is a general labor role handling shipping/receiving.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Complete shipments by processing and loading orders; read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to move/gather/distribute
• Unload, receive, and put away incoming goods; unpack bales/crates/containers; check for damage and invoice discrepancies; install strapping/bracing/padding as needed
• Sort, label, move, and store goods per predetermined sequence (size, style, product codes); optimize warehouse space
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure standards compliance
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods using pick sheets (paper/electronic); use pallet jack or forklift following stacking policies; verify product/quantity accuracy
