Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Apopka, Florida is hiring a Warehouse Associate. The role supports a safety‑driven distribution environment with stand‑up forklifts, electric pallet jacks, high reach forklifts and cherry pickers.

Weekly pay at $18.00 per hour for first shift; on‑site work with comprehensive benefits starting after 30 days. Training is provided; PTO and 401(k) with company match are included, along with employee discounts and safety gear.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s) such as forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.
• May operate manual/automated other equipment (e.g., packaging line).
• Powered industrial truck certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning is correct.
• Train dock staff on new procedures and maintain facility security.
• Perform picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage.
• Handle materials within the location's policies and procedures.
• Conduct material moves and support warehouse operations.
