Job summary

Batesville in La Mirada, CA seeks a Warehouse Associate. The role focuses on safe handling of shipments, inventory care, and varied warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting units for quality, loading/unloading caskets, maintaining a clean workspace, operating power equipment, and performing additional duties as needed. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-year prior warehouse or related experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers.
• Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Ability to lift and/or move equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs frequently and over 100 lbs occasionally.

Your Role at Batesville:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the safe handling of shipments, proper care and handling of inventory, and various other warehouse duties as required.

• The expected pay for this role is $20.57 per hour with a $0.75 nightly shift differential for a total of $21.32 per hour. Actual compensation within this range may be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
