Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, is a leading electrical distributor with a strong local footprint in Illinois. Echo Electric now operates under one brand and seeks a Warehouse Laborer to receive, pick, pack, ship, wire cut, and assist with general warehouse maintenance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and safety expectations.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacket, and wire cutting machine.
• Be on feet for extended periods and traverse the warehouse.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, check, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Load, unload, and move materials using safety equipment, hand trucks, and front-end loaders/forklifts.
• Receive, check in and store inventory in a safe manner and ensuring the quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Assist customers with loading material and resolve problems if needed.
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
• Record damaged or defective materials.

We have a great opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Laborer to join our team! You will ensure products get where they need to be by receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting and assistance with general maintenance of the warehouse. This role is an active, physical role in a warehouse environment.

We are looking for associates who:

• Pick, check, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Load, unload, and move materials and supplies using safety equipment, hand trucks, and front-end loaders/forklifts.
• Receive, check in and store inventory in a safe manner and ensuring the quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Assist customers with loading material and resolve problems if needed.
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
• Record damaged or defective materials.

What you bring:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and safety expectations.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.

• Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacket, and wire cutting machine. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to be on feet for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
