Job summary

Allied Wire & Cable, a GCG Company, is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our climate controlled facility in Southlake, TX. You will be responsible for picking and pulling orders, inventory control, shipping, receiving, operating machinery, and assisting with other warehouse duties.

The role is full-time, direct-hire, with a schedule 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Fri and pay rate of $20/hr plus comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, 401(k), and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pull orders using forklifts and RF scanners.
• Pack and ship orders with quality control checks for accuracy.
• Receive in material and perform put-away.
• Log inventory and print picking tickets using Oracle and Rubicon.

Overview

Allied Wire & Cable, aGCGCompany, is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our tight-knit team at our brand new, climate controlled warehouse in Southlake, TX! In this role, you will be responsible for picking and pulling orders, inventory control, shipping, receiving, operating machinery, and assisting with other general warehouse departments as needed.

Hours:8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Fri

Pay Rate:$20/hr + full benefits

What You'll Do

• Pick and pull orders using forklifts and RF scanners
• Pack and ship out orders, performing quality control to ensure orders are accurate
• Receive in material and do put away
• Complete paperwork, log inventory, and print picking tickets using Oracle and Rubicon
• Operate hand-held scan gun and computers to log inventory
• Daily set-up and operation of wire cutting & spooling machine, ensuring machine runs smoothly
• Organize, relocate, and perform quality control on inventory
• Assist with additional duties as needed
