Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving operations at our Butner, NC distribution center. You will accurately move product, palletize orders for shipment to local stores and operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment safely.

Ideal candidates are motivated self-starters with attention to detail, able to use a PC for data entry, and have a high school education.

Qualifications

• High School Education
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Complete all documents related to shipping/receiving tasks
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen foods and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts
• Follow sanitation practices; keep work area clean and debris-free
• Make recommendations to improve procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
