Job summary

ManpowerGroup seeks Laborers for a manufacturing and distribution client in Hammond, IN. The role covers warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and value-added services, with a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift.

You will load/unload freight, move products, and prepare orders for shipment in a safety-focused environment. Requires ability to operate a pallet jack, good communication, and reliable adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is desirable
• 0 to 12 months warehouse experience desirable
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manually load and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Move product to storage areas with material handling equipment
• Assemble merchandise for shipping and prepare orders with sorting, packing, labeling
• Check freight for accuracy, participate in inventories
• Perform general grounds/building maintenance and other duties as assigned
