Job summary

Purvis Industries, a family-owned industrial distributor, seeks a Warehouse/Driver in Ft Worth, TX. You will identify products, receive shipments, and manage daily delivery runs, using FIFO inventory. You’ll process shipments, load/unload vehicles, and ensure accurate paperwork and signatures from customers.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Two years of driving experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years driving experience.
• Experience in warehouse, delivery, logistics, shipping and receiving, or industrial distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify products and learn company lines to support warehouse and delivery operations.
• Receive shipments and verify accuracy against packing slips.
• Document discrepancies and submit packing slips to Order Processing promptly.
• Organize and maintain daily delivery runs and log deliveries in the tracking system.
• Stock products using FIFO inventory practices; pull orders and verify accuracy before shipment.
• Process UPS, parcel, and motor freight shipments; load and unload deliveries with safe handling.
• Obtain customer signatures and ensure paperwork is returned to Order Processing.
• Maintain delivery records and support branch and operations managers.
