Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the receipt, shipment, recording, and disbursement of goods to or from various locations. Responsible for and/or assist in logistics and supply chain, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet business requirements with minimal delay.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for and/or assist in material handling and warehousing functions required in receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
2. Assist in verifying quantities, parts, destinations, and timing using source documents.
3. Operate machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
4. Ensure safe operation and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and electrical equipment used in the facilities.
5. Perform specialized clerical and documentation duties as needed.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents
• Warehouse experience preferred
• Logistics experience preferred
• Ability to use ladder, hand truck, and dolly

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping
• Lifting, lowering, pushing, or pulling items of varying weight
• Work at heights up to 20 feet from the floor
• Work in environments with frequently changing temperatures
