Job description

We have an opening for a part-time, seasonal Warehouse Specialist. This is an ideal, short-term position for someone who wants to work in an active, collaborative environment, helping to maintain Standard Heating's inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies. This position is safety-sensitive. We offer training, a fun and safe work environment, great teammates, and the perfect way to make a little extra money this summer!



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help pull/put away HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies


• Assist in preparing parts and equipment for installations


• Assist warehouse staff and technicians with loading/unloading trucks


• Operate pallet jacks, two-wheelers, and other non-motorized equipment and tools


• Assist in physical inventory of products/supplies


• General building and grounds maintenance


• Prepare spent equipment to cut down for recycling


• Other duties as assigned


• Hours are Monday to Friday, 8AM - noon

Requirements:

• Demonstrated customer service & communication skills


• High personal integrity


• Ability to use common power tools & material handling equipment such as pallet jack


• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds


• Basic computer skills


• Previous warehouse or HVAC experience preferred


• Diploma or equivalent required
