Job description

The Warehouse I Associate is primarily responsible for receiving, putting away, picking, and shipping

product within a warehouse. This role is responsible for maintaining quality by properly and safely

handling the product, as to meet customer standards

• Works safely while performing tasks and using equipment (, uses proper lifting techniques for handling product, warns other associates when moving into high traffic path, maintains safety zone around equipment, etc.)
• Efficiently and accurately pull and / or check orders to company standards
• Accurately pulls products from warehouse shelves based on item number, size, color, and quantity requirements
• Packs and stages completed purchase orders for delivery
• Achieves or exceeds performance expectations by completing effective and efficient audits
• Trained and performs tasks in cross-functional areas, such as picking, pulling, labeling, shipping, and / or helping with deliveries, as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications :

Required –

• Strong safety orientation and proven record of complying with safety requirements
• Demonstrated track record of consistent and reliable on-the job contribution
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision or with a team

Preferred –

• High School or GED
• Experience in distribution center operations or previous warehouse experience
• Experience operating power equipment (, forklift, reach truck, yard truck)
• Experience performing detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced working environment
• Experience using spatial reasoning to position product effectively
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills
• Basic computer skills
