Job summary

Carolina Cat is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storing, and distributing materials across operations. You will work with SAP to ensure accurate inventory tracking, timely order fulfillment, and safe handling practices.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and in a team environment to meet material deadlines. Forklift experience and a valid license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse or material handling experience.
• Previous experience with SAP or other warehouse management systems preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipments, verify contents against invoices, inspect for damage, and complete Goods Receipt transactions in SAP.
• Organize and label inventory in designated storage locations (racks, shelves, or bins); maintain proper documentation of item placement.
• Perform routine cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with audits.
• Pick and stage materials for production or shipment; deliver items to proper departments and confirm delivery completion.
• Package finished goods, generate shipping labels and documentation, assist with outbound shipment coordination.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; conduct daily safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area; follow safety protocols.
• Issue purchase orders and assist with tracking inbound shipments; collaborate with internal departments to meet deadlines.
• Support 5S and lean initiatives; other duties as assigned.
