Bellmont Cabinet Co. in Sumner, WA is seeking a reliable Roba-Tech Operator to join the Sanding Department and ensure edge quality on cabinet components.

You will operate a Roba-Tech edge-sanding machine, load/unload parts, inspect quality, and participate in meeting daily production goals while maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or machine operation is a plus; comprehensive training provided.
• Comfortable using hand tools and shop tools safely.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; safety-focused and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate Roba-Tech edge-sanding machine to finish cabinet component edges.
• Load/unload parts, monitor sanding, inspect components for quality.
• Enter basic part information into the machine and perform routine adjustments.
• Identify surface imperfections and determine corrections.
• Safely operate tools to support sanding department needs.
• Prepare finished components for transfer to the next stage of production.
• Meet daily/weekly production goals while upholding quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain finish quality.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Share ideas for process improvements and take ownership.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Roba-Tech Operator to join our high-performing Sanding Department. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have a strong eye for detail, and are eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this position, you'll operate specialized edge-sanding equipment to refine cabinet components and ensure clean, consistent edges that meet Bellmont's quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Operate a Roba-Tech edge-sanding machine to finish cabinet component edges.

• Maintain your work area to ensure safety, efficiency, and finish integrity.

Qualifications: What You Bring

• Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or woodworking is a plus; however, a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are what matter most. Comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Comfortable using hand tools, sanding equipment, and shop tools safely and responsibly.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
• Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate and report quality concerns.
• Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, and basic computer interfaces.
• A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
