Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily branch operations, including order fulfillment and delivery preparation. The role emphasizes accurate picking, efficient receiving, and safe warehouse practices in a hands-on environment.

The position may require a forklift certification, barcoding technology use, and English proficiency (Spanish a plus). A pre-employment drug test and background check are standard to ensure safety and reliability in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.
• Read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
• Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification of power-truck equipment.
• Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
• Fluent in English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports the day to day operations of the Branch by providing order and delivery services.
• Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
• This position is safety-sensitive; pre-employment drug test and background checks may apply.
• Maintain a safe and orderly warehouse environment and ensure accurate picking, packing and shipping to customers.
