Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply in Abilene, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to support daily branch operations, including order processing and customer deliveries.

You will handle receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping, while maintaining a safe, orderly warehouse and complying with safety protocols. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus; power-truck certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code; read orders and match shipping tickets to items picked.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification for power-truck equipment and to operate inventory control equipment (bar-coding equipment, handheld devices).
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports the day-to-day operations of the Branch by providing order and delivery services.
• Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparation of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
