Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a General Warehouse Person to support processing and shipping orders to stores across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, auditing and shipping, using RF scanning to track inventory, and ensure accurate entry into the inventory system.

You will work in a distribution center, maintain a clean and safe environment, and uphold Walgreens' quality standards while meeting daily logistics demands in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Willing to work a flexible shift.
• Able to stand at least 8 hours with or without accommodations.
• Able to push, pull, grasp and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
• At least two years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
• At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment.
• At least 6 months experience with RF scanning.
• At least 6 months experience entering data in an inventory management system.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing and shipping merchandise to stores.
• Track all inbound and outbound items with RF scanning for inventory accountability.
• Verify orders and ensure entry into the inventory management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe distribution center and orderly work areas.
• Uphold quality standards set by distribution center management.
