Qualifications

Southern Hobby is seeking a Warehouse Associate, with responsibilities ranging from pulling/shipping/packing orders, stocking inventory, cycle counting, loading/unloading freight and other tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager. We're looking for someone who has a great attention to detail and can work at a solid, consistent pace with accuracy. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.

Southern Hobby Distribution is a dynamic environment, filled with associates passionate about the collectible industry. We work hard and we have lots of fun doing it! We are the #1 US distributor for exciting brands such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh and Blood, and several other leading trading card games. We are also an authorized distributor for Panini, Topps, Upper Deck, Leaf, and TriStar sports cards and memorabilia. In addition, we carry collectible toys, RPGs, miniatures, and board games.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Pulling, packing, and shipping orders.
  • Use of RF Handheld Equipment
  • Assists with inventory control and preventing shrinkage
  • Helping maintain organization of the warehouse
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere that strengthens the team
  • Load and unload freight in a safe and efficient manner
  • Learn and memorize warehouse products
  • Complete other duties as assigned by warehouse leads or Management staff
  • Conducting physical inventory and adjusting discrepancies
  • Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area
  • Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues
  • Other duties are assigned by leadership
  • Regular and reliable attendance

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

1-3 years' experience working in a warehouse preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Safely.

Able to be continuedly standing for the whole shift period.
