Job summary

DGM SERVICES INC. in Houston, TX is seeking an Entry-Level Warehouse Associate to check, receive, and process incoming material and assist with basic data entry. This role handles order preparation, material handling, and safety practices.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 1–2 years in a warehouse, strong communication, ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack, and the stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Verify physical material versus paperwork.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials and prepare items for shipment.
• Sort and place material on warehouse racks, shelves or bins according to standards.
• Open crates and other containers.
• Maintain inventory control by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording inventory received.
• Responsible for some data entry.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
