Wolff Bros. Supply, Inc. in Toledo, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving and order pulling at our Toledo Branch. The role involves cross-training across will call, wire aisle, crane bay and pipe yard, and manual or powered movement of items between storage areas.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and a readiness to learn. Competitive starting pay with quarterly bonuses for accuracy, safety and performance is offered.

Qualifications

• Willing to be cross-trained for multiple warehouse duties.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Shipping, receiving and order pulling.
• Cross-training for duties in will call, wire aisle, crane bay and pipe yard.
• Move items manually or with equipment between storage shelves and bays.
• Attach identifying tags and labels to materials.
• Use RF scanner to identify items during put-away and picking.
• Complete any paperwork related to activity.
• Ensure packaging quality and secure travel of goods.
• Assist in inventory management and maintain clean work areas.
• Operate equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Wolff Bros. is looking for a warehouse associate for our Toledo Branch. Some duties include stocking materials, pulling items from to fill customer orders, inter-company transfers, conducts inventory, etc.

Work Week & Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm, No weekends

Pay: Starts at $18.50, plus quarterly bonuses: accuracy, safety & performance

Summary of Job Duties:

• Shipping, receiving & order pulling
• Willing to be cross trained for duties in will call, wire aisle, crane bay, and pipe yard
• Manually move items from to and from storage shelves manually or using industrial lift trucks to move bigger items in large item storage bays
• Put incoming or returned items from shipping dock onto stock picker platform by hand and puts material away in storage racks
• Attaches accurate identifying tags, labels, or information markings to materials, cases, bales, or other containers
• Use RF scanner to identify items when putting away or picking inventory
• Properly complete any paperwork associated with work activity
• Make sure product is packaged and secure for safe travel
• Help manage inventory as using proper procedures and technology
• Safely uses all equipment including, but not limited to, powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, cutting machines, bar code readers, carts, conveyors, doors, gates, etc.
• Keep work area in neat and clean condition
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Requirements/Expectations:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Previous warehouse experience preferred, not required
• Forklift experience preferred, not required
