Job summary

Vehrs Distributing, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Kent, WA to receive shipments, store products, and support picking and order preparation as needed. Responsibilities include unloading, storing, and safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks, handling glass containers with care, conducting inventory, and keeping the warehouse clean.

General Responsibilities

Since 1983, Vehrs Distributing has been on a mission to create and deliver the finest premium wine and spirits portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. As we expand our offerings to include non-alcoholic beverages and reach more clients in the Western Washington region, we'\'re looking for additional Warehouse Associates. This role involves receiving incoming shipments and properly storing them in the warehouse, as well as additional general warehouse duties. Receivers may also be asked to assist with picking and order preparation if required.

Essential Functions

• Unload and verify accuracy of incoming shipments
• Store product in appropriate bins
• Safely operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
• Safely handle glass containers with care to minimize loss.

Compensation

This is a full-time position that pays $23/hour.

• This position starts at 80 hours of paid vacation per year. Our tiered accrual schedule increases based on seniority, capping at 160 hours after six years of service.
• 10 days of paid sick leave per year
