Job description

Direct Mail Solutions is a full service mail and fulfillment company located in Richmond, Virginia. DMS is seeking a Warehouse Receiver Associate who will be responsible for efficiently and accurately handling mail material in the Warehouse Department.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Receives, checks in, and labels items and places in proper location.
2. Safe operation of material movement equipment.
3. Take physical inventories on an ongoing basis.
4. Ability to efficiently operate computerized inventory systems.
5. Efficient and effective handling of finished product/mail while tracking and storing.
6. The safe and well-organized loading of prepared materials.
7. Follow proper methods of loading & unloading trailers safely and efficiently.
8. Keep warehouse clean and free of waste and debris.
9. Work flexible overtime deemed necessary.
10. Assist coworkers in other areas of the warehouse once core duties are complete for the overall success of the entire warehouse team.
11. Reach Truck Operator.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

1. Shipping & Receiving experience is preferred.
2. Reach Truck experience preferred.
3. Valid VA Driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
4. Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
5. Well organized with the ability to prioritize workload.
6. Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Basic computer and communication skills are required.
8. Previous forklift and pallet-jack experience is a plus. Must pass a forklift-training program to become a qualified operator on all warehouse equipment.
9. Flexible with scheduled work hours.
10. Able to safely lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis, occasionally more than 50lbs. Frequent bending, twisting, and pulling.
