Responsibilities

• Pick online orders.
• Read pick tickets and accurately pick orders onto a mobile rack.
• Queue filled racks for the shipping team to pull and fulfill.
• Repeat the process and minimize shipment errors.
• Maintain a clean warehouse and organize shelves.
• Complete weekly assembly tasks as assigned.
• Assist in putting away received product.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the Operations and Inventory Manager.

Warehouse Associate- Picker

Location: Woodstock, VT

Salary Range: $18 $20 per hour

Reports to: Operations and Inventory Manager

Type: Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available

Farmhouse Pottery is seeking warehouse support in our new distribution center in Woodstock, VT. This distribution and warehouse support role is responsible for picking all online orders for all Farmhouse Pottery goods.

Primary Responsibilities

• Pick online orders
• Reading the pick tickets and efficiently picking the orders onto a mobile rack
• Once the rack is filled, place it in the queue for the shipping team to pull from and fulfill the orders
• Repeat!
• Diligence and attention to detail is a must to minimize shipment errors
• Maintain a clean warehouse, recycling boxes, organizing shelves, sweeping floors
• Complete weekly assembly tasks per assigned list
• Assist in putting away received product
• Any other warehouse duties as assigned by the Operations and Inventory Manager

Physical Requirements

• Frequently carry, raise or lower objects up to 50 pounds from one level to another
• Remain on feet in upright position for continuous periods of time
• Walk throughout building, including up and down stairs and outside
• Exerting force up to 20 pounds on a regular basis so object is moved towards or away from team member
• Good hand-eye coordination and hand strength
• Regularly reaching for, grasping and/or picking up objects
• Bending forward by bending at waist or bending legs and spine
