Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Warehouse Worker for Tulane University Concessions in New Orleans, LA. The role handles receiving, processing and preparing orders, and maintaining inventory and safety standards.

You’ll operate pallet jacks or forklifts as needed, follow procedures to ensure accuracy, and support daily warehouse tasks, including counts and paperwork. Availability includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb.
• Current valid driver’s license is required. An MVR will be run as part of your pre-employment screening process.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting products, labeling items, and reporting discrepancies.
• Organizing and storing incoming products using FIFO for perishables.
• Training and operation of pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
• Picks inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload and transport products to different areas of the warehouse or client locations.
