Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is hiring a Warehouse Associate at the Miami Distribution Center to move parts and support distribution operations. This role involves operating equipment (reach trucks, order pickers) and building shipping containers to ensure timely delivery to customers.

The position requires a safety mindset, English literacy, and being at least 18 years old, with weekend shifts and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Availability for weekend shift (Sat-Mon).
• Must be able to read, write and conduct business in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes for receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing and shipping parts and materials.
• Operate handheld scanner for receiving, counting and order processing.
• Be trained to operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts and cranes; not all positions operate equipment.
• Report defects and needs for repairs.
• Use pneumatic/power tools to build wooden shipping containers and apply paint/rust preventative.
• Maintain housekeeping and perform other tasks as assigned.
