Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Needham Corner, MA is seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate for Sunday, Monday, and Thursday 8:30pm–12:30am. You will pick, pack and prepare orders, assist with receiving and shipping, and help maintain accurate inventory.

No prior warehouse experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided. The role offers a stable evening schedule, opportunities to learn material handling equipment after training, and benefits such as 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at height 20–30 ft regularly.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders including picking, quality checks, packing and shipment prep.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and support projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Be willing to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment.

Anticipated hourly range:$25.00 per hour - $25.70 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie ride

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents
