Job summary

Core-Mark International seeks an attentive Warehouse Order Picker to accurately pick and pack products for shipment at the Shepherdsville facility. You will operate scanning equipment, meet productivity and quality standards, and work with Reach Trucks as needed to pull replenishment TOs and pallets.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a $20.00 hourly raise after forklift certification, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6-12 months warehouse/production experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack product according to established standards.
• Run scanning equipment.
• Pack orders to customer specifications.
• Meet productivity and quality standards.
• Use Order Picker to pull empty pallets and TOs.
• Identify problems and provide timely feedback and solutions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Accurately and efficiently pick product and prepare orders for shipment observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Works independently and communicates well with other departments (verbally/written/computer) to move work through the system in an organized fashion. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack product according to established standards.
• Run scanning equipment.
• Pack orders to the customer’s requirement and/or from provided specifications.
• Meet established productivity standards and quality standards.
• Use of Order Picker to pull empty pallets from racks.
• Use of Order Picker to pull replenishment TOs if needed.
• Use of Reach Trucks to pull replenishment TOs if needed.
• Self-identifies mistakes, identify problems and recommend solutions, provide candid and timely feedback to all levels in the organization, involve others in problem-solving when needed and see all responsibilities through to a successful completion.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

6 - 12 months warehouse and / or production work experience.
