Job summary

American Lumper Services LLC in Portland is seeking reliable part-time workers to sort freight and load it for overnight deliveries. Work is steady, not overly strenuous, with a friendly team and consistent weekly pay.

The shift runs Mon–Fri from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Starting pay is $18 per hour with evaluations at 60 and 240 days and potential increases. Benefits include medical after 30 days, PTO, 401K option, and tenure bonuses at 6 months and 1 year.

• Must be dependable.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs consistently and safely.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Sort freight and load it out to be delivered overnight.
• Be part of a small team that works together to fulfill deliveries.
• Maintain a steady, but not overly strenuous, work pace.
• Willing to perform duties as assigned, including tasks outside the daily scope.
