Chicago Cubs is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to support facilities operations in our Chicago office. The role focuses on receiving inbound deliveries, moving stock, and maintaining inventory for events and daily use at 3505 N Kimball Ave, Chicago.

This position typically offers ~30 hours per week and requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. As a member of Cubs operations, you will work closely with the Senior Supervisor, Logistics, and contribute to safe, efficient

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work 30 hours a week.
• Must be able to work nontraditional hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages up to 50 lbs.
• Physical tasks: bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Perform product movements in a safe and secure method according to department policies.
• Safely drive vehicles up to a 16-foot box truck and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Maintain inventory counts and communicate results.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Plan and perform labor projects for events around the Chicago area.
• Support all departments including grounds, cleaning, setup, events, security, and engineering.
• Candidates will receive industry-specific certification.

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

The Warehouse Associate, part-time hourly position plays a vital role in delivering best-in-class operating experiences to internal and external stakeholders of Cubs operations. The role includes the receiving of inbound deliveries, movement of goods from storage locations, coordination of inventory levels and delivery of goods to end users. The role will typically work 30 hours a week.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Perform product movements in a safe and secure method, following the policies and procedures laid out by the department
• Safely drive vehicles as large as a 16-foot box truck to other heavy machinery that includes forklifts, scissor lifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.
• Maintain and update inventory counts and properly communicate results
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Planning and performing labor projects for special events and special occasions around the Chicago land area,
• Assisting all departments including, but not limited to grounds crew, cleaning, setup, events, security, and engineering
• Candidates will receive industry-specific certification

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work 30 hours a week.
• Must be able to work nontraditional hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform the following physical tasks: bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb flights of stairs, walk on uneven ground, walk/run up and down ramps, walk and stand for extended periods of time
