Ryder is immediately hiring permanent full-time Skilled Laborers and Construction Professionals to ensure excellent craftsmanship at our manufacturing facility in Lakewood, Washington.

Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Construction positions pay weekly.

• Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour
• Additional pay: $0.56 piece rate after daily quota is met
• Schedule: Second Shift, Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 2:00 am

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 0-1 year in carpentry or construction preferred
• Ability to understand basic math
• Ability to operate power tools safely
• Follow repair processes
• Physical ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder, crouch, and lift at least 75 lbs
• Stand and walk for extended periods (at least 2 hours, four times per day)
• Perform repetitive movements using hands and feet

Responsibilities

• Safely repair pallets to meet quality and safety standards
• Operate pry bars, hammers, grinders, saws, and nail guns
• Lift pallets manually (up to 70 lbs)
• Ensure pallets pass CHEP's quality control
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow OSHA and MSDS standards
• Wear all safety equipment during repairs
• Perform additional duties as required
