Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for general duties such as pallet handling, consolidation, stacking, and reconditioning. The role involves coordinating with loaders, unloading returns, and ensuring proper storage in a structured environment.

Candidates should understand safety guidelines and be comfortable using warehouse management systems and RF equipment. This position emphasizes adherence to HACCP and SQF standards and teamwork to meet daily

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or operations is preferred but not required.
• Must follow safety guidelines and HACCP/SQF policies.

Responsibilities

• Inspects assigned jack for safety issues.
• Communicates with loaders and loader foreman about which truck to unload next.
• Unloads all returns and properly disperses and stores product in an organized manner.
• Informs foreman or supervisor of any large quantity returns.
• Logs and discards any leaking returns.
• Unloads totes and freezer boxes and stores them properly.
• Unloads hand jacks and load bars and stores them properly.
• Unloads and separates empty pallets and stores in pallet staging area.
• Checks with supervisors or manager at shift start about issues or changes.
• Communicates daily staffing needs to ensure timely selection and on-time area completion.
• Identifies areas needing staffing and fills in as needed.
• Assists in training and monitoring staff for accurate order selection, pallet building and replenishment.
• Assists in monitoring daily productivity reports.
• Performs duties per HACCP and SQF policies.
