Job summary

FOH® is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to join our warehouse team in Miami, FL. This permanent full-time hourly role focuses on order picking, packing, and supporting container offloading to ensure timely fulfillment of sales orders.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of warehouse experience, familiarity with warehouse management systems and handheld devices, and the ability to work in a high-heat environment. Compensation starts at $16.00 per hour.

• Comfort with using warehouse tech like handheld scanners and WMS.

Position Summary

The Distribution Center (DC) Associate is part of the Distribution Center team. This role contributes to the success of the company by being responsible for order selection of any sales order, packing any sales orders, and assisting with container offloading. The DC Associate supports our vision by being dedicated and committed to versatility and excellence in all we produce.

Essential Responsibilities Include

To support operational efficiency and team collaboration, all Associates are cross‑trained in multiple functions. While this role may focus primarily on packing, associates are expected to contribute across receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and other warehouse activities as required.

Picking & Packing

• Accurately picks orders for shipment and assemblesvarious typesof merchandise to be shipped as assigned
• Achieves productivity by picking and packing a minimum as they continue ongoing training
• Scans orders via a hand‑held scanner and packs then processes all transactions
• Removes defective products or materials, placing them in designated areas for proper processing
• Loads the completed sale orders into designated areas for packing
• Examines and inspects containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met
• Communicates with the Order Fulfillment leader if any important or rush orders will not meet deadlines for picking and packing

Other Duties

• Assists with container off loading and any other warehouse duties as needed
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment in assigned aisles or areas
• Contributes to department teamwork by demonstrating strong time and attendance records, especially during month‑end
• Records personal daily punches and approves accurate bi‑weekly time and attendance records
• Actively participates in all one‑on‑one and group meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Promotes our FOH® Culture in all interactions

Education, Experience & Computer Skills

• Minimum of 1+ year' experience in a warehouse setting, picking or packing orders
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and handheld devices
• Must be able to tolerate working in a high‑heat environment
• Basic understanding of computer programs

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this role, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The team member frequently is required to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The team member is frequently required to sit; The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Team Members may also need to pull or push 800lbs pallet jacks.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Must be able to tolerate conditions associated with no air conditioning or heat.

The salary/hourly range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including, but not limited to, work experience, territory, geographical location, etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
