Givens is seeking dependable Warehouse Associates / Order Processors to join our Chesapeake warehouse team. You will pick customer orders, pack and prepare shipments, and use RF scanners to verify items.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, order picking, processing, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse work for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately according to order specifications.
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment.
• Load and unload materials from inbound and outbound trucks.
• Pull products and materials from warehouse locations for shipping.
• Use RF scanners to verify products, quantities, and order accuracy.
• Identify damaged products, shortages, or discrepancies and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Shrink-wrap and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including order pickers, stand-up lifts, and electric lifts as needed.
• Meet productivity and on-time performance expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and warehouse safety requirements.
• Work with team members to meet daily shipping and processing deadlines.
