Job summary

Specs Family Partners seeks a warehouse team member to support daily order picking and merchandise stocking for wholesale customers. You will identify products by sku, prepare and pack orders, and maintain neat rack areas.

The role requires lifting heavy items, operating pallet jacks, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of warehouse experience or willingness to learn, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Read, comprehend and write simple instructions; communicate with coworkers and guests.
• Basic arithmetic for inventory counts (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred, HS diploma or GED acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Identify products by sku, size, varietal, and rack bin location.
• Pack wholesale orders neatly and securely for delivery.

• Operate pallet jack and dollies to move and stage products.
• Inform manager of out-of-stocks or variances; assist in inventory prep.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally; work safely in a fast-paced warehouse.

The individuals selected for this position are responsible for order selecting and merchandising wholesale products daily. They ensure that we are expediting and stocking wholesale products for our wholesale customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Knows and actively demonstrates, daily, our Company Mission Statement and our Core ValuesCorrectly identifies product by sku, size, varietal, and rack bin locationMake necessary notes on invoices to show variances changes, and out of stock productsMaintains control and integrity of pull cart to ensure no product is removed until order is completely pulledMaintain neat and orderly product rack areas while order selectingMaintains pull cart staging area to ensure any order can be quickly verified upon checkingPack wholesale order products neatly without damage to ensure integrity of item at deliveryTag wholesale customers orders according to quantity of shipmentMaintain security and proper usage of all TABC stamps utilized for wholesale customer ordersWork with and maintain TABC stamp guns and machinesRestock supplies and utilize equipment when needed to ensure replenishment of products in the racksInform manager/lead of out of stocks or inventory variance on all itemsWork with and maintains computer equipmentAssists in prep for inventory and assist in inventory processPractices teamwork and cooperation with coworkersSeeks to continually improve related skills and knowledge to contribute to profitability and productivityUndertakes responsibilities with care and attention to detailLift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally in each shiftProperly utilize a dolly and/or pallet jackPush or pull 50-100 pounds regularlyOther projects as assigned by managementEfficiently carrying out all the directives given by Management TeamWorking in accord with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHAShould possess time management skills and be able to prioritizes tasks and meet the demands of the dayAttendance and Timeliness is required. You must be able to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests.Mathematical SkillsYou need the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus. Counting is a major plus too as your count becomes inventory.Attitudinal and Personal SkillsYou have the job. Now you need to do the job. You need to be responsible, reliable and committed to providing excellent service. Patience, friendliness and an outgoing personality are needed for success. You need to be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who completes job assignments in a timely fashion and then looks for the next task.HoursFull Time is typically 40 hours per week. Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday and must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week.Part Time is up to 25 hours per weekWe schedule for the needs of our business. Working outside of your scheduled time without Store Manager approval is prohibited. In other words, you cannot decide to make up hours because you missed some time after a night out with your buddies unless your manager oks it.Reasoning AbilityYou need the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
