Job summary

Spec's Family Partners is seeking a warehouse associate for order selecting and merchandising wholesale products daily. You will identify products by SKU, size, and rack location, pack and stage orders, and maintain neat, accurate racks.

You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, work full-time with Friday/Saturday shifts, and operate pallet jacks or dollies safely. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience or willingness to learn.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Must be able to work full-time; Friday or Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify products by SKU, size, varietal, and rack location.
  • Pull, pack, and stage wholesale orders with care.
  • Maintain clean rack areas and inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in restocking and prep for inventory.
  • Operate pallet jack and dolly safely.
  • Note variances and out-of-stock items on invoices.
  • Follow safety regulations and company policies.

Job description

The individuals selected for this position are responsible for order selecting and merchandising wholesale products daily. They ensure that we are expediting and stocking wholesale products for our wholesale customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Knows and actively demonstrates, daily, our Company Mission Statement and our Core ValuesCorrectly identifies product by sku, size, varietal, and rack bin locationMake necessary notes on invoices to show variances changes, and out of stock productsMaintains control and integrity of pull cart to ensure no product is removed until order is completely pulledMaintain neat and orderly product rack areas while order selectingMaintains pull cart staging area to ensure any order can be quickly verified upon checkingPack wholesale order products neatly without damage to ensure integrity of item at deliveryTag wholesale customers orders according to quantity of shipmentMaintain security and proper usage of all TABC stamps utilized for wholesale customer ordersWork with and maintain TABC stamp guns and machinesRestock supplies and utilize equipment when needed to ensure replenishment of products in the racksInform manager/lead of out of stocks or inventory variance on all itemsWork with and maintains computer equipmentAssists in prep for inventory and assist in inventory processPractices teamwork and cooperation with coworkersSeeks to continually improve related skills and knowledge to contribute to profitability and productivityUndertakes responsibilities with care and attention to detailLift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally in each shiftProperly utilize a dolly and/or pallet jackPush or pull 50-100 pounds regularlyOther projects as assigned by managementEfficiently carrying out all the directives given by Management TeamWorking in accord with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHAShould possess time management skills and be able to prioritizes tasks and meet the demands of the dayAttendance and Timeliness is required. This is not a job you can do from homeSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed above satisfactorily. State law says you must be over the age of 21 to work at Specs. Specs insists that you be a human being (my dogs are cute, but they cant do the job). In other words, here is the technical stuff.Education or ExperienceWe would love you to 1-2 years of warehouse experience, but if youre willing to learn, were willing to teach you. Wed like you to have a high schooldiploma or a general education degree (GED), but sometimes, experience is the best education.Language SkillsWe need you to be able to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos. You must be able to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests.Mathematical SkillsYou need the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus. Counting is a major plus too as your count becomes inventory.Attitudinal and Personal SkillsYou have the job. Now you need to do the job. You need to be responsible, reliable and committed to providing excellent service. Patience, friendliness and an outgoing personality are needed for success. You need to be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who completes job assignments in a timely fashion and then looks for the next task.HoursFull Time is typically 40 hours per week. Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday and must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week.Reasoning AbilityYou need the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Knowing when to come in from the rain is a plus.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job regularly requires standing, walking, or bending; use of hands and fingers to handle or feel; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balance; talking and hearing. You must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with proper tools. You must be able to use a industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Work Environment and Environmental ConditionsWe provide a fun and positive environment in for our staff. You will be exposed to outside weather conditions while youre working in ourwarehouses. The noise level is usually moderate to loud.Open Availability
