Job summary

US0670 Edward Don is seeking a warehouse associate in Florida to receive, stock, prep and ship merchandise for local and outlying areas.

The role requires operating forklifts, lifting 40-60 pounds repeatedly, and using RF/Voice pick devices. Strong stamina and adherence to safety standards are essential. This is a full-time position with Sun-Thu 5:00pm start, OT may be required, and no travel is involved.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
• Load Merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
• Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, "Preferred Method Standard".
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Perform house keeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

The ideal Candidate will have ability to:

• Operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker.
• Lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
• Bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time.
• Successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Operate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick devices.

• This is a full-time position.

• Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements.
• The position does not require travel.
