Position Purpose:

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse Worker, you will support shipping and/or receiving activities within our warehouse.

The Warehouse Worker performs shipping and/or receiving functions in a timely manner while maintaining inventory and warehouse work areas, observing all safety regulations, and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the distribution process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, pallet breakdown, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
• Performs general housekeeping duties to keep warehouse area, loading dock, and trailers clean and safe. Reports unsafe conditions immediately.
• Performs safety checks of forklifts/pallet jacks and follows safety policies.
• Checks received items for damage and contacts supervisor for removal if needed.
• Replaces batteries and completes vehicle inspections following company policies.
• Reviews work schedule and prepares for operations.
• Uses all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Meets productivity and accuracy standards.
• Secures equipment and completes paperwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

- Able to work scheduled times and overtime

- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly during shift

- Able to lift 10-35 pounds regularly and up to 60-90 pounds occasionally

- Able to work in cooler, freezer, and dry environments

- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
