Job summary

Cardinal Health Aurora distribution center is seeking team members for warehouse operations. Responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing and shipping orders while maintaining accuracy and safety, with occasional cross-training across areas and equipment operation.

Shifts are Sunday night and Monday-Thursday night, with a pay rate of $22.35 per hour (includes shift differential). Benefits include health coverage, PTO, HSA, 401(k) and more.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for the full shift and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computers or POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, packing and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and assist on projects as needed.
• May wear steel-toe boots in the warehouse.
• Work in cold temperatures during some parts of the shift.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Train and be certified to operate material handling equipment.

Schedule : Sunday nights from 5:00pm-1:30am (or until work is finished) and Monday-Thursday nights from 6:00pm-2:30am (or until work is finished).

Pay Rate : $22.35 per hour (includes shift differential).

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Our warehouse team members make it all happen. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and/or participating in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team member as needed.
• May be required to occasionally wear steel-toed boots in the warehouse while performing certain job duties.
• May be responsible for working in cold temperatures throughout segments of the shift.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
