Empire Auto Parts in Odenton, MD seeks a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storage, picking, packing, inventory accuracy, and a safe work environment. The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and efficient operations.
Typical shift is Monday to Friday, 4:00pm–1:00am, with training provided; forklift certification is a plus and prior warehouse experience is welcome but not mandatory. Weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate, is a motivated and detail oriented individual who wants to be a part of our dynamic team. As a Warehouse Associate, they will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. The responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment
Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy, and document any discrepancies. Ensure all products are in good condition and report any damages or issues.
Storage and Organization: Safely and efficiently store products in designated areas, optimizing space utilization and maintaining a well-organized warehouse.
Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack customer orders, ensuring items are properly labeled and prepared for shipment.
Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels. Identify and report discrepancies promptly.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards by handling products with care and attention to detail. Ensure that products are handled, stored, and shipped in compliance with company standards.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and proficiently. Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to meet production and shipping goals. Communicate effectively to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
