Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a hardworking Warehouse Associate for a Monday–Friday shift in Reno, NV. The role requires handling inbound/outbound materials, using basic systems, and maintaining accurate stock while observing safety rules. You will contribute to timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced distribution center.

The position offers full-time hours with overtime potential, benefits, and opportunities for cross-functional training and growth within our expansive product network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet customer\'s needs.
• Internal certification to drive powered equipment within specified time requirements.
• Internal certification to pick DOT-regulated items, if required.
• Physical demands to perform essential job functions including standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move product by hand, by skid, or by cart.
• Put away product to bins and racks, including DOT items.
• Verify products using item numbers and inspect packaging for damage.
• Scan labels into warehouse system.
• Stage product for put-away bins, overstock or racks.
• Operate powered equipment (pallet jack, forklift, turret truck, order picker).
• Follow safety guidelines and meet productivity/quality standards.

Warehouse Associate

Stockhandler - Monday - Friday - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

MSC is growing and going strong. We seek a team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment to perform various manual and mechanical duties to move a variety of raw materials throughout our Customer Fulfillment Center.

How You'll Contribute

You will have a hands-on role in our warehouse to ensure delivery of our vast product line to our valued customers.

• Load, unload, and move product by hand, by skid, or by cart.
• Put away all required product, including DOT items, to bins and racks.
• Verify products using item numbers, descriptions and quantity, and inspect boxes and product for damage or improper packaging.
• Scans labels into warehouse computer system.
• Stage product for put-away bins, overstock or racks.
• Consolidate racks, and move and stage totes/skids for re-use.
• Operate basic (i.e., electric pallet jack, forklift) and advanced (i.e., turret truck, order picker) powered equipment.
• Train cross-functionally in other departments and functions to support business requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times, meet specified productivity and quality expectations, and participate in Work Clean program.

Compensation starting at $20.75/hr depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
